snow

We're in the midst of the biggest snow of the season (so far) with a predicted max of maybe two feet. These back porch shots show the storm's progress over its first twelve hours. Finding it hard to let go of a good thing, we still have a net of lights slung over the railing making for what I think are some interesting images. The east wind sculpted the low-lying piedmont leading up to the mountainous pile. We've more than a foot at this point. I'll probably add another photo or two as the depth increases today.
